In the name of InfoSec and Web Video 2.0
Posted by Joe Franscella
I’m a big fan of Web 2.0 video. I love that Web 2.0 empowers anyone with a video camera and an Internet connection to quickly and easily share their perspectives with the world and it truly is living the dream for me to get paid to produce corporate video for the Web and internal uses. When I moved into my new house six months ago I crated up my home-studio and finally got everything unpacked last week and set up. I am looking forward to using the home set up for profesional and personal use and especially to start producing InfoSec related videos for my blog (will that make in a vlog?). For kicks, here is a virtual tour of my home set up.

From left to right: Cannon GL2 on tripod, television monitor for output orientation, HiDef monitor displaying Avid Liquid 7 Pro, Custom built Gateway e6500 (built to Avid specs.), headphones, chair, mic.

My dual Maxtor external harddrives. I learned the hardway a number of years back that to process quality video you need externals.

I have wondered for quite sometime what to do with these towers, I have often wondered if there is a way to use them as external hard drives.

My teleprompter disassembled.

Not sure what all is on these mini dv tapes and burned CDs and DVDs. One of these days I'll have time to sit down and find out.

Three of my four JTL 750 watters.

One of my JTL 750s assembled in its softbox.

My green screen I use with my Ultra Digital Magic vector key program that I use to insert digital backgrounds. Beleive it or not, my wife wasn't all that thrilled about it being stapled to the wall of our living room.
